The rules for using Just Texted, in plain words.
What Just Texted makes with AI
When you chat, what you type is sent to Google's Gemini AI so the characters can reply, with your name, your gender, your bio and your last messages in that chat.
Before your first message is sent, the app asks: Before you start chatting. The characters here are AI, not real people. To write their replies, Google Gemini processes what you send and your profile. You tap I agree or Not now.
When you ask for a couple selfie, your profile photo is sent to Google's Gemini AI to draw it. A photo you send in a chat is not sent to Gemini: the character reads only your caption.
When you make a character, its name, tagline and bio are sent to Google's Gemini AI to write its replies. With no photo, its tagline is sent to draw its picture. A photo you give it is sent to Gemini only when you ask for a couple selfie with that character.
AI can be wrong, and what Just Texted cannot do
We do not promise that anything made by AI is correct.
The characters here are AI, not real people.
Companion chatbots may not be suitable for some minors.
The characters in Just Texted are AI, not people, and they are not a substitute for help from a person.
Who may use it, and what you may not make or send
Just Texted is for adults 18 and over.
Do not use Just Texted to break the law, or to hurt, bully or trick anyone.
Only add things you have the right to use.
No sexual material. Chats are romantic and flirty, and never explicit.
Every character is AI, made up and ours. A match or a date here is with an AI character, inside the app. You are never matched with a real person.
Do not make a character of a real person, and do not upload a photo of someone else without their permission.
It does not use characters from films, books or games.
How to report something
To report a character's reply, write to support@justtexted.com with the character's name and what was wrong. A person reads every report.

What we do about it
If you break these rules, we may close your account.
A plan on a closed account stops, and nothing more is charged.
