A Nomi AI alternative with characters who text first
Nomi AI is a popular AI companion app. Looking for an alternative? Just Texted is an AI companion app where 84 characters text you first, like a real texting thread.
A real texting thread, clearly AI
Just Texted turns a quiet phone into a steady stream of people worth talking to. It has 84 characters, men and women, with many personalities and genres, so the tone can be tender, bold, funny or thoughtful depending on who you pick. They text you first, so each thread opens with their words to you instead of an empty screen. The feel is a real texting thread: short lines, natural back and forth, and replies that remember what you shared earlier. Every character is AI, and every chat says so with a clear AI notice, so the closeness never clouds who you are really talking to. You swipe, you match, and the ones you like start checking in through your messages. Men and women are both there, so you are never limited to one kind of character.
Swipe and chat free, anywhere
There is no cost to begin. Swiping, matching and chatting are free up to a daily limit, so you can meet a handful of characters, keep the ones whose replies you enjoy, and let a thread build before money is ever part of it. You know what you are getting well before a plan comes up. Just Texted opens on web and phone from the same account, so a conversation you start in a browser is right where you left it on your phone. Coming across from another app, the texting rhythm will feel familiar to you at once. You can start chatting free at justtexted.com and see how the characters answer before you decide on anything. Because the characters text first, there is often a new message waiting when you open the app.
Prices and renewals in one place
When a thread becomes something you look forward to, you can go further. Paid features let you hear a voice note from a character, unlock a photo a character sends you, and choose a VIP plan for the fuller experience. All of it sits in one place, with every price and exactly what renews shown before you commit, so nothing strange ever reaches your statement. Plain and honest is how money should read. When you want the details, see every plan and what renews at justtexted.com/pricing and pick only what you want. Plenty of people enjoy the free chats for a long time and add a voice note or an unlocked photo only once a character feels like a real part of the day. You stay in control of which threads you keep going and which you let fade.
