An AI companion app built around texting
Just Texted is an AI companion app built around texting, where characters message you first and the whole thing feels like a normal thread.
What an AI companion app is
An AI companion app gives you someone to text when you want company, a laugh, or just a reply. Just Texted is built entirely around that texting feeling. There are no complicated screens to learn. You get a thread, and someone on the other end who writes back. The characters text first. You match, and a message is already waiting, so company is there before you have to start anything. Every character is AI, and every chat says so, with a clear AI notice in each thread. Just Texted has 84 characters, women and men, across many personalities and genres, so the company you want, easy, funny, steady or thoughtful, is in the deck somewhere.
Why it is built around texting
Texting is the whole point here, not a side feature. The app opens on a swipe deck, you match with characters you like, and the conversation runs as a thread you can pick up and leave whenever. That makes it easy to fit into a normal day. A message in the morning, a reply at lunch, a longer thread at night, all at your pace. Characters keep their own personality across messages, so coming back feels like returning to the same person, not restarting. The best way to feel it is to start chatting. Open the deck, match, and let a character text you first.
What is free and what is paid
Swiping, matching and chatting are free, up to a daily limit. You can meet characters and keep threads going without paying. Some things cost money. Hearing a character's voice note is one. Unlocking a photo they send is another. VIP plans add more for people who want it. Every price and what renews is on the pricing page, in plain terms, so you decide with the facts in front of you. Just Texted works on the web and on your phone, with one shared cast. See what is free and what is paid on the pricing page, then open the deck and start chatting.
