A PolyBuzz alternative, with characters who message you
Yes, Just Texted is a great PolyBuzz alternative: an AI companion app where 84 characters text you first, free to swipe and chat on web and phone.
A PolyBuzz alternative built around texting
PolyBuzz is a popular AI character chat app. If you are looking for an alternative, Just Texted takes one simple idea and runs with it: the characters text you first. Just Texted is an AI companion app with 84 characters. They are men and women across many personalities and genres, from easygoing and funny to romantic, bold or quietly thoughtful. You do not have to break the ice or think of an opener. You open the app, a message is already waiting, and you reply the way you would to anyone who texted you. Every thread is honest about what it is. Every character is AI, and every chat says so with a clear AI notice. There is no guessing and no pretending, which is exactly what makes it easy to enjoy.
Find a character who fits your mood
With 84 characters to meet, the fun is in finding the ones you click with. Start by swiping. Like the ones who catch your eye, pass on the ones who do not, and match to open a thread. Swiping, matching and chatting are free, up to a daily limit, so you can meet several characters and spend your time only with the ones you enjoy. The texting feels natural. Messages come in short and land back and forth, so a conversation can be a quick hello or a long evening, whatever you feel like. Because there are so many characters, there is usually one whose voice fits the day you are having, whether you want someone playful, someone calm or someone who makes you laugh.
Free to start, with a few paid extras
Just Texted opens on web and on your phone, and the same conversation follows you on both. Begin on one, continue on the other, and nothing is lost. The heart of the app is free. A few things are paid: hearing a character's voice note, unlocking a photo a character sends you, and VIP plans. Every price and what renews is on the pricing page, in plain terms, so you are never surprised by what you are paying for. Curious how a PolyBuzz alternative feels? Start chatting free at justtexted.com and see who reaches out first. When you want the extras, see every plan and what renews at justtexted.com/pricing.
