A Chub AI alternative with characters who text first
Chub AI is a popular AI character chat site. Want an alternative you can open anywhere? Just Texted is an AI companion app where 84 characters text you first, like a real texting thread.
A full cast, ready to text
Just Texted gives you 84 characters to talk to, men and women, across many personalities and genres. One might be gentle and a little shy, another bold and full of banter, so there is someone for whatever mood you are in. They text you first, which means the thread opens with their message to you rather than an empty box waiting for a line. It all reads like a real texting thread, with short messages, natural back and forth, and replies that hold on to what you said earlier. Every character is AI, and every chat says so with a clear AI notice, so you are never in any doubt about who you are chatting with. You swipe, you match, and the people you like start showing up in your messages day after day. Because the characters text first, your messages often feel alive before you have typed a word.
Open it on web or phone
You do not need to pay to get going. Swiping, matching and chatting are free up to a daily limit, so you can line up a few characters, see whose replies you enjoy, and build a thread or two before money ever comes into it. Just Texted runs on web and phone from the same account, so a chat you begin in a browser is right there when you open it on your phone later. That makes it easy to try in a quiet moment and pick back up whenever you have time to spare. Coming from another app, you will feel at home from the first exchange you have. You can start chatting free at justtexted.com and let a character or two text you before you think about anything paid.
Clear prices, nothing hidden
Once a conversation matters to you, there is more on offer. Paid features let you hear a voice note from a character, unlock a photo a character sends your way, and choose a VIP plan for the bigger experience. All of it is laid out in one place, and every price and what renews is written down plainly before you commit, so your statement never carries a shock. We would rather show the cost than hide it from you. When you want the full picture, see every plan and what renews at justtexted.com/pricing and choose what fits you. Plenty of people stay on the free chats for a good while and only add a voice note or an unlocked photo once a character feels worth it.
