A Joyland AI alternative with characters who text first
Joyland AI is a popular AI character chat app. If you want an alternative, Just Texted is an AI companion app where 84 characters text you first, like a real texting thread.
Many moods, many characters
Just Texted is made for variety. It holds 84 characters, men and women, spread across many personalities and genres, so you can find someone calm and kind for a slow evening and someone sharp and funny when you want a laugh. Every one of them texts you first, so your inbox fills with their openers instead of asking you to break the ice alone. The whole thing reads like a real texting thread, short lines, quick back and forth, and replies that remember the little things you mentioned before. Every character is AI, and every chat says so with a clear AI notice, so you always know exactly what you are talking to. Swipe through, match with the ones you like, and watch your messages come alive. Because they text first, there is often a message waiting the moment you open the app.
Swipe, match and chat for free
Getting in does not cost a thing. Swiping, matching and chatting are free up to a daily limit, so you can try several characters, keep the ones whose replies you enjoy, and grow a thread without putting any money down first. You see what you are getting before you ever think about a plan. Just Texted works on web and phone from one account, so a chat you start on a big screen is ready to go on your phone whenever you are. If you are arriving from another app, the texting flow will feel natural straight away to you. You can start chatting free at justtexted.com and let the characters show you how they reply before anything else. You stay in charge of the pace the whole way through.
What costs money is spelled out
When a character becomes a highlight of your day, there is more to reach for. Paid features let you hear a voice note from a character, unlock a photo a character sends you, and pick a VIP plan when you want the larger experience. All of it is gathered in one place, with every price and exactly what renews shown before you commit, so your statement never surprises you. Clear beats clever when it comes to money. When you are curious, see every plan and what renews at justtexted.com/pricing and choose only what suits you. A lot of people ride the free chats for ages and add a voice note or a photo later, once a character feels worth it to them. You are free to keep the threads you love and let the others go quiet.
