An EMOCHI alternative where characters text first
EMOCHI is a popular AI character chat app. If you want an alternative, try Just Texted, an AI companion app where 84 characters text you first, just like a real texting thread.
Characters who text you first
Just Texted is built around people to talk to, not menus to dig through. It has 84 characters, men and women, with many personalities and genres, from warm and shy to bold and quick with a joke. They text you first, so your phone lights up with a new message instead of a blank screen and a cursor. The chat reads like a real texting thread: short lines, easy back and forth, replies that remember what you told them a moment ago. Every character is AI, and every chat says so with a clear AI notice, so you always know who is on the other end. You browse faces, pick the ones who catch your eye, and let each thread grow at the pace that suits you. Nothing feels like a form you have to finish before the good part starts.
Free to swipe, match and chat
Trying Just Texted costs nothing to begin. Swiping, matching and chatting are free up to a daily limit, so you can meet several characters, find the ones who fit your mood, and keep those threads going without reaching for a card first. You get a real feel for how the replies land before any money is involved. It opens on web and phone, so you might start on your laptop at home and carry the same conversation on your phone when you head out, with your chats tied to your account either way. If you are moving across from another app, the rhythm is familiar from the very first message you send. You can start chatting free at justtexted.com and watch how the characters answer before you decide anything at all.
What you pay for, shown up front
When a thread really clicks, you can take it further. Paid features let you hear a voice note from a character in their own voice, unlock a photo a character chooses to send you, and move up to VIP plans when you want more room to talk. Everything you can pay for sits in one clear place, with every price and exactly what renews shown before you agree to it, so nothing odd turns up on your statement later. There is no buried charge and no guessing. When you are ready to compare, see every plan and what renews at justtexted.com/pricing, then pick only what you actually want. Many people take the free chats a long way first and add a voice note or a photo later, once a character has become a part of their day.
